U.S.-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership
The U.S. Water Partnership is pleased to welcome all five ASEAN Water Smart Engagement (WiSE) program partner utilities to the United States at the end of September. WiSE partners from Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines will be visiting their U.S. utility partners in Hillsboro, OR, San Francisco, CA, Washington D.C., Milwaukee, WI and Miami, FL, and attending WEFTEC, the Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference in Chicago, September 30 to October 4, 2023. This is the final round of U.S. site visits under the WiSE program which will conclude at the end of fiscal year 2024.
US-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership
USASCP is a key deliverable of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy that seeks to harness U.S. public and private sector expertise to collaborate with the 26 pilot cities of the ASEAN Smart Cities Network (ASCN) in order to meet the varied challenges of rapid urbanization and help improve the lives of people in the region.
